With reference to Colonial Office letter No.33744/34
of 5th April, I am directed by Secretary Sir John Simon
to state that he concurs in Secretary Sir Philip
Cunliffe-Lister's proposal to communicate to the
Admiralty, War office and Air Ministry, respectively,
copies of Foreign Office letters No. F 1099/1099/10
of 9th March together with relative correspondence on
the subject of the expropriation of certain properties
of Chinese tenants in Kowloon City and to ask for their
observations upon the matter as it affects them.
